McCain, A Liar you can count on…

… to try to lie his way all the way to the White House.

John McCain released an approved ad today that says that Obama has been silent on the economic crisis.

Can you believe a word that comes out of this man’s mouth, or out of his campaign?

Obama has been talking constantly about the economic crisis, and has been doing so for over 20 months on the campaign trail.

So, where the hell has John McCain been?

Apparently, not listening.

But, that’s not surprising.  He has only allowed his running mate, Sarah Palin, take questions from the media twice in the last 4 weeks.  (By comparison, Obama’s running mate, Joe Biden, has conducted 84 interviews and press conferences.)

And, McCain planned today to take questions from the traveling media for the first time in 6 weeks!

The reality is that McCain is listening to Barack Obama.  It is evident when he tries to counter Obama’s charges that McCain is out of touch with “Main Street” America.

“I want the people in Ohio here to know that I have not forgotten the economy on Main Street,” McCain said during a campaign stop in Strongsville, Ohio, on Tuesday. “Not Wall Street, not Washington, D.C., but Main Street is the focus of our attention and our efforts.”

Obama has been focused on the people living on “Main Street” since the beginning of his campaign … meeting with and listening to everyday people and the workers that support business across the Country.

After decades of supporting “Wall Street” over “Main Street”, McCain wants you to believe that he’s changed his ways and you should vote for him — friend of big business and big oil.

It seems likely that McCain will maintain these distortions and lies in the upcoming debates — the first of which is scheduled for Friday evening.

His intent seems to simply confuse voters into voting for him … by perhaps distorting Obama’s record so that Obama will have to play defense, and be seen as the weaker candidate.

McCain has shown that he won’t hesitate to not only distort the truth, but readily lie to an audience in hopes of riding the tide of that lie all the way to White House.

The kind of behavior we’ve seen from the current resident of the Oval Office.
